FEATURES

Weigh the overload test VRTA series of vertical rotary test benches are mainly used in the strength and life test of various high-speed rotating machinery parts. Applications include aero engines, gas turbines, compressors, turbochargers, high-speed motors, high-speed flywheels, and more. Test tasks include rotor overspeed test, burst test, prestressing and pre-deformation treatment, low-cycle fatigue test, casing containment test, etc., which are used in product development, manufacturing and quality control. By increasing the rotational speed of the test piece to the specified speed, the stress generated by the centrifugal load inside the specimen reaches the expected level, so as to achieve the test purpose of strength test, stress and deformation control.

Components

Test Stand

Mainly consists of a vacuum chamber, vacuum chamber cover, cover locking device, cover access structure, vacuum chamber bottom window, explosion-proof ring, cover lifting and rotating mechanism, crossbeam, and guide columns.

Drive System

Mainly consists of a main motor, coupling, gearbox, frequency converter, and drive shaft. This system provides power for the test rotor.

Lubrication System

Mainly consists of a lubricant tank, oil supply pump, oil return pump, cooler, filter, oil pipes, control valves, and an emergency oil supply system. It provides lubricating oil, pressure oil, and oil for sealing and damping components for the entire test stand.

Vacuum System

Mainly consists of a vacuum pump, safety valve, air filter, oil-gas separator, electromagnetic control valve, and pipelines. It evacuates the test chamber to create a vacuum environment for the high-speed rotation of the test rotor.

Measurement and Control System

Used for measuring various parameters of the test specimen and auxiliary process equipment of the test stand, as well as controlling the process equipment and electrical systems.

Heating System (Optional)

Used for heating and controlling the temperature of the test specimen.

Crack Monitoring System (Optional)

Mainly consists of sensors, amplifiers, and a signal acquisition and processing system (including software). It conducts long-term trend monitoring of collected data, identifies characteristics indicating crack initiation, and effectively monitors crack initiation and propagation during testing.

Telemetry/Slip Ring System (Optional)

Mainly used to transmit temperature and strain signals measured on the rotor.

High-Speed Camera System (Optional)

Mainly used for real-time imaging of the high-speed rotating rotor during testing, capturing footage of the rotor at the moment of burst. It consists of a high-speed camera, triggering device, and terminal display.
